This coffee has won so many medals over the last 5 years in the toughest roasting events - Golden Bean and Fine Foods Coffee Awards.
We submit this coffee into the critical Espresso category and it has won 5 medals over the last 5 years.
In May 2013, this coffee won a Bronze Medal at the Australian International Coffee Awards - an excellent result from a tough competition involving more than 603 entries from 130 International roasters.
October 2013 our Espresso blend picked up another Bronze medal in the Espresso category at Golden Bean.
Recently, in March 2015, our Espresso collected another Bronze in the Espresso category at Australian International Coffee Awards.
Since we created this blend, this coffee has consistently won medals, exceeded our customers expectations and built up an enormous group of loyal clients.
Full flavoured and superb in milk.
Exceptional crema, low tending to neutral acidity, hints of chocolate and a great lingering after-taste from the smooth, sweet, fruity syrup of the Ethiopian.
We use quality Brazil, Sumatran and Ethiopian beans in this 100% Arabica blend.

More than 750kg of this coffee blend are roasted each week - fresh roasting this coffee 5 days per week.
This coffee continues to evolve based upon what we think works best with the seasonal variances we are constantly dealing with.
In the middle of April 2016, I took a radical departure with the blend strategy for this coffee and decided to up the ante - generate to more flavor.
The result is a pretty punchy 100% arabica coffee.
Everyone thinks a Northern Italian-inspired espresso blend should be dark roasted.
The reasons they roast dark is because they source lower-grade, defect-laden beans that must be roasted dark so the taints and defects disappear up the chimney.
This is a medium-dark roast, although roast level is really a very misleading indicator these days - one person's dark is another's medium and so on.
We roast this coffee to a point that balances the true character of the beans, the fruit and the caramelization of the sugars.
If you are looking for a dark roast with tons of bitter bight, can I suggest the supermarket shelves - this coffee is about rich, intense, sweet flavors.
Whilst espresso is all about the "short black or double ristretto" this coffee is absolutely wonderful in milk - let's face it, 95+% of espresso in Australia has milk added to it
If you like a bold cup11 September 2016Given that we like a coffee that lingers with you long after your last sip, we thought this would be our favourite. It's a good blend and is certainly strong and bold. For our taste we found it can be a little harsh - but definitely worth trying if you like a coffee your spoon can stand up in!
