We go to extraordinary lengths to cup and evaluate all the Ethiopian Sidamo coffees the brokers offer.
Sidamos, like their stable-mates, the Limu (or Limou's), can be utterly memorable coffees when they are ON.
We have hand-picked a superbly washed Sidamo with excellent acidity, fruity/nut notes and a lingering finish.
Please note these Ethiopia Sidamo coffees are changing regularly - new lots and crops are arriving every couple of months in Australia.
As such, we always try to pick the best of these lots - you will notice some changes in the cup profile over time.
Sometimes, the cup will be fruitier; sometimes, it will have more chocolate; periodically, the red berry will be replaced by a dark berry or a raspberry.
That's the life of Ethiopian coffees - always changing.
Sidamo offers a brilliant intensity to any brew style, whether espresso, filter, drip, syphon, etc.
