The latest lot arrived in our warehouse early September 2020 and was released into production on the 11th September.
It's a new season lot, meaning it's different to what we offered previously - please understand this product in our store is a seasonal coffee that we pick various lots from different specialty farms - a lot may run for around 3+ months.
Flavours are rich and creamy with a long sticky-date and caramel finish.
A lovely, balanced coffee that works exceptionally well in milk - pleasant, sweet, crisp and refreshing.

This lot scored 86 on the table, perhaps higher in different circumstances.

Honduras the Star Squad player25 August 2020I use my Honduras in cold brew as a single or blend, and I also use it for french press and have made Turkish coffee with it too. It is fantastic, and easily my partner's favourite coffee (as coffee brewing is my domain). I would say, however, that this coffee is a lot more about the earthy chocolate and cocoa notes and not much to do with acidity at all. But perhaps it would enjoy these notes through espresso? Definitely a coffee that everyone loves.
Honduras Microlot14 April 2020These beans do not just surprise you. They are a breath of fresh air, provide a desirable milk-coffee drinking experience and will have you wanting more than a round of coffee. I could not take more than a couple of sips of stale cafe coffee, after sampling this microlot. Of course there are combinations, complex blends, etc but the Honduran Microlot just holds it own. Hoping the new batch from mycuppa will be as good. There will be opinions, views and differences on many single origins like Panama, Yirga, Sumatra and complex blends hold their own. This one sure does.
Great coffee29 April 2018I have been buying the coffee from MyCuppa for more than 2 years and having tried several other single origins, this is the one I always come back to. It just makes delicious coffee. Every time I make this for a guest I get nothing but great compliments accompanied by surprised expressions on their faces. They usually then ask to look at my coffee machine which, although it a very good machine I tell them it is the coffee. It has a wonderful smooth flavour without a hint of bitterness. My sister said it was the best coffee she had ever had. Can't ask for better than that.
Honduras treat A110 January 2017What a pleasant delight. I prepare my coffee by pour-over, Syphon and occasionally French press. This Micro Lot batch is wonderful for this style of prep. After trying the Ethiopian filter roast, I wanted a rounder flavour with notes that were more subtle, that revealed themselves throughout the drinking and pleasantly lingered on the palet. The Honduras #85 came up trumps. I've been preparing and drinking, freshly roasted coffee for over 30 years and found this batch wonderfully delicious. Thanks.
Honduran Delight!!4 August 2016With trepidation I ordered 1kg of Honduras Microlot beans mid-July. They arrived within a couple of days as usual & I was dying to try them. Had to wait a day as I had some Suuweet beans in the hopper. Wow!! Our first short blacks were so sensational we had another round ten minutes later. We've been asked by everyone who's popped in & had a coffee since, where did we get the beans? There is a subtle chocolatey & fruity flavour to the coffee with a beautiful soft aftertaste - no bitterness at all. For our taste it's perfect for short or long blacks. However for those who still like a strong coffee taste in their milk coffee, these beans may be a little subtle. Am about to order another kilo as stock is very low. Thanks for introducing us to a new coffee bean from a very promising area.
