Amazon Rainforest Alliance Coffee Beans
Here you can add our AMAZON 100% Arabica coffee blend to your shopping cart.
It is certified Rainforest Alliance and available in whole beans supplied - perfectly roasted to that precise medium-dark depth that brings out the maximum sweetness, blody and flavor in the coffee - excellent for Espresso style coffee.
By default, it is supplied as Whole Beans, but you can also purchase this Amazon coffee as ground by choosing the required brew type in the Option to Grind drop down selection box before adding this product to the shopping cart.
Our Amazon blend delivers a great traditional espresso taste, lingering chocolate notes with hints of butterscotch and caramel. There is intense sweetness and a rich, toffee finish.
Amazon was a coffee we created almost a decade ago to satisfy a supply requirement for a large commercial customer. At the time, it was seen as important and critical to have an industry certified product for sourcing compliance.
Now, 9 years later the Rainforest Alliance (RFA) program has signnificantly diminished from significance in the general coffee industry. RFA has recently merged with the smaller and less know UTZ certification program.
Our Amazon coffee is registered with RA.ORG (Rainforest Alliance Organisation - New York) and is controlled by the regulations governing sales of authentic Rainforest Alliance products.
A "classic" coffee that suits milk-based espresso beverages perfectly - with stages of rich, smooth and creamy chocolate finishing with a delightful after-taste.
This engineered specialty grade coffee is prepared from 4 different premium coffee growing regions - all of which are 100% Rainforest Alliance coffee producers.
Many companies use just the minimum 30% ratio, but we are proud to say this coffee consists of 100% RFA coffee beans.
Over the last 9 years we have been strong supporters of the RFA program.
As far as all of the certified programs are concerned, we believe that RFA creates a more sustainable future for farmers by conserving their land through natural shade and complimentary farming practices.
Much of the RFA coffee we purchase is shade or partial shade grown, meaning the coffee is planted alongside beautiful canopies of tall trees allowing a natural composting and fertisiling from the mulch.
Ultimately, we think RFA coffees are a step above traditional coffees in terms of quality and cup character.
