About Nicaragua

It is widely accepted among coffee brokers in Australia to obtain SHG-grade coffee beans to create specialty-grade coffee.

Good single-origin Nicaraguan coffees make excellent espresso due to the complete and well-rounded flavour profile. This lot is no exception.

Unlike other SHG coffees, this Nicaraguan does not develop the sharp acidity found in many centrals.

For this reason, it's one of our favourite single-origin coffees and is highly underrated.

Our current lot is the quality Diamond - by name and by nature - this is a rock-hard, dense bean that, once dialled in the grinder, rewards you with a truckload of toffee that coats the inside of your mouth for hours afterwards.
