When it comes to sourcing our curated single origins coffees, we always look to select coffees from an Estate. These are are delivered unblended - so the pure character of the coffee is prepared and not diluted at processing co-ops by mixing high with lower grade beans.
So what is the difference between all the Costa Ricas in the mycuppa store ?
Tarrazu region coffees tend to have more body (with longer finish and persistent after-taste so highly desired).
The Estate coffees from Candelaria and Jaguar are simply sensational in milk - bright, clean acidity.

This is a delicate coffee best enjoyed as a Single Origin - I had thoughts of using this in our leading blends, but it would be such a shame to hide the lovely fruit notes that appear in the cup as it cools, becoming more intensely sweet and aromatic.
