August 2012 - Two Kenyans, interesting Indians and a Panama coffee

Date Posted:1 August 2012

Kenya - 2 standout coffees we available are the Peaberry http://www.mycuppa.com.au/Kenya-Peaberry.html and the sublime Kenya Gondo.

The Gondo will only be offered via the Roasters Choice http://www.mycuppa.com.au/Roasters-Choice.html method as our plan is to roast this perhaps fortnightly only.

Both these Kenya Coffee Beans are simply sensational - clean, sweet, sparkling acidity with a very long finish.

From India, we have superb sundried coffees from the award winning Kalaghur Heights estate and our favorite from Attikhan Estate.

From Kalagur, we have secured superb examples of 100% Catimore, 100% Cauvery and 100% SL9 varietals.

These double-shade grown coffees are intensely sweet, deliver a rich, smooth and creamy body with a long raisin-like finish.

From Attikhan, we have a great sundried Cauvery.

Indian coffee make superb milk-based coffees, e.g. cappuccino, flat white, latte.

In October 2013, we managed to scoop up some delightful SLN4345 - very fruity chocolate.

A new arrival from Panama - the Boquete Casa Ruiz is proving to be one of our roasters personal faves.

A very clean cup with toasted almonds and a peach, caramel finish. This coffee is without doubt one of the cleanest and sweetest coffee beans in our 55+ bean collection.

The Panama can be purchased here.......http://www.mycuppa.com.au/Panama-Boquete/
