In these terms and conditions, ‘mycuppa.com.au’, ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ means Carlini Enterprises Pty Ltd ABN 65125731044 trading as Carlini Coffee Company. The words ’you’ and ‘your’ mean the person or entity contacting the mycuppa.com.au website for any purpose.
We make shopping for products easy by offering a number of options for ordering through www.mycuppa.com.au. You may place an order ONLINE by using the shopping cart facility on this website. Orders may also be placed with us by PHONE, and EMAIL subject to acceptance by us of your credentials and trading terms. Orders placed online via the www.mycuppa.com.au website enables us to process your transaction faster. Phone orders require manual keying of details and payment verifications that can delay the shipment by by up to 1 business day. As speed and efficiency are most important to you, please consider placing orders online as the first preference.
Our pricing on mycuppa.com.au are in Australian dollars and where applicable will include GST (Australian Goods and Services Tax) listed separately on the Invoice, which is set by the Australian Government at 10% of the cost for some items such as Accessories, Cleaning products, Equipment and services such as freight. We do not accept orders that require International shipping. From time to time, we may also offer distributor prices on some mycuppa.com.au products subject to prior negotiation. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a distributor and if eligible, we will discuss our distributor prices with you confidentially. All prices are subject to change as determined by mycuppa.com.au.
Raw coffee bean prices fluctuate hourly and are among the most volatile priced commodity in the world. We provide smoothing of the volatile coffee bean costs but please be aware that it is vital we review our pricing periodically to ensure we can continue to be both competitive and sustainable.
Full payment must be made at the time of ordering – unless an alternative arrangement for an account has been agreed and accepted by us beforehand. Please note that strict conditions apply to this option. If ordering online, payment must be made by either Bank Transfer or by Credit Card using the secure external eWay or Paypal systems. All transactions are made in Australian dollars and some payment systems may attract a merchant fee surcharge (currently, we do not charge merchant fee surcharges, however, we reserve the right to review our merchant fee charges at any time). If ordering by phone or email, payment may be processed by us either before or ANY time after the parcel has been sent to you. This option is only available to pre-approved customers.
We package the mycuppa.com.au products carefully to avoid damage and use only reputable carriers for the safe delivery of your order. We deliver by Australia Post and/or a courier service nominated by us. In all cases, except where you have specified an "Authority to Leave" you will be required to sign for the package as proof of delivery. We make every effort to despatch your order the same day and at worst case the next business day from receipt of the order. Remote areas of Australia such as far north QLD, NT and WA and remote Australian Islands where freight involves boat or special transit shipments that can require up to 2 weeks transit timeframe. Delivery time does depend on distance and remoteness of the destination of our lodgement point in metropolitan Melbourne. We lodge all our parcels directly to a large Australia Post Business Centre for speedy delivery. If you require an order urgently, please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate your request by giving your order special attention or priority. Please also note that we DO NOT use AusPost Express parcel services as we have experienced far too many damaged consignments using AusPost Express.
mycuppa.com.au reserves the right at any time to modify or add content to this website, including these Terms and Conditions. The laws of Victoria, Australia govern the operation of this website and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms and Conditions which will continue in full force and effect. mycuppa.com.au does not store any credit card information. All credit card processing is securely conducted externally to mycuppa.com.au via either eWay or the PayPal system using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) standards implemented by eWay or PayPal Australia.
We make every effort to supply the items or services you order and we proudly target our 99.5% fill rate on items shown as in stock. All products, however, are subject to availability and in particular we hold limited stocks of roasted coffee to ensure we ship fresh products with every order. If there is any problem fulfilling your order, you will be notified within 2 business days of us receiving your order.
All prices are stated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. Please note that coffee, teas and most drinking chocolate powders are exempt from GST.
Refunds - Returns and Exchanges
mycuppa.com.au prides itself on delivering the highest quality merchandise. If any merchandise arrives that does not meet this high standard, we will gladly replace the merchandise, except in cases where there has been obvious transit damage outside of our control by the freight company. Notification of returns must be made within 5 days of receipt of the goods. Please note that delivery/shipping costs of defective products are non-refundable. We are not liable where a defect is caused by fair wear and tear, by careless or improper handling, or by other abuse or misuse caused by you or a third party. We are not liable where any defect, loss or damage is caused to the goods during delivery or shipping. We do not take responsibility for any products returned without a return authorisation by us. Personal preference or changing your mind is not considered a reason for return and refund. Before we will replace a product, proof of purchase must be supplied and the defective product returned to mycuppa.com.au. A refund will only be issued to the extent required by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Commonwealth) and the respective state Sale of Goods Act legislation. In the event of a damaged parcel by the freight company, we will ask you to supply photos via email to be used in lodging a claim with the provider.
Delivery and Charges
Shipping Charges are as shown when you proceed to a checkout page or are as quoted for your post code directly via the AusPost merchant interface. We do store any postage rates in our system and we do not uplift any postage charges on any products. A re-delivery fee may apply if we cannot deliver to you on first attempt when some types of courier services have been engaged by us to perform the delivery of the parcel.
Rewards points are only available for purchases made through our mycuppa.com.au website. We reserve the right to make changes or to discontinue the Rewards Program and Refer a Friend Program from time to time.
The Rewards system is currently de-activated. In lieu of a rewards program offer, we discounted all our coffee products by 18 - 30% in August 2012 so that we can continue to offer exceptional value by providing high grade, fresh roasted coffees for the best available price and backed up by fast, efficient service.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders. Your personal and Credit Card details are not stored on mycuppa.com.au. Your personal contact details will remain confidental and will not be shared, leased, sold and exchanged with any third party under any circumstances. eWay and PayPal do not provide mycuppa.com.au with any financial rewards for the use of their services.
