We run modern, new generation specialty roaster plants and this technology advantage contributed towards our spectacular results winning 9 Golden Bean medals in the last 3 years - in 2010/11, we placed 2nd Overall in Australia's biggest and most competitive coffee competition against 340 coffee companies and 1000+ entries.

In May 2013, we picked up 2x medals in the RASV Australian International Coffee Awards. These competitions strip away the excessive hype, marketing and personalities and bring it back to pure product performance and quality. Make no mistake, these are tough events involving between 600 and 1,200 submissions, judged to International standards.

Most coffee companies operate old-style, manual, inefficient roasters that require special skills (and a bunch of good luck) to produce a decent or consistent roast. We call them “browners”…….looking for anything close enough to a "brown" colour.

After a lengthy evaluation of leading brand roasters, we were convinced that in order to produce a premium grade product, it was absolutely vital to have best-in-class roasters. The Geisen and Joper range of equipment are regarded as being the best built and highest-performing roasters available in the specialty coffee market.

Our new European Roasters are fully computer profile controlled and integrated to a independent de-stoners for removal of debris that could damage your valuable coffee equipment.

To further raise the bar in terms of quality, we installed our equipment within a climate controlled Roastery— that’s right, we keep it running in a clean and temperature stable environment so that all variables are fully controlled. Unlike other roasters operating in the open air and volatile conditions of factories and warehouses.

Geisen equipment was supplied by Wolff Coffee Roasters (thanks Wollfy).

Joper equipment was supplied new directly from Europe.

To cope with our phenominal growth we have implemented another new larger capacity roaster from Joper in Portugal. Our new roaster is highly customized, hand-built by artisan builders who have been crafting the best roasters for 50 years.

We are very excited by this new roaster as it will push us further ahead of the Australian coffee roasting industry using sophisticated computerized control systems, ensuring we deliver the freshest, high quality coffee beans in Australia.
